Multiaxial Fabrics - Glassfiber

Description

E-glass multiaxial fabrics are stitch fabrics. Polyester yarn is used to bind direct roving together at different angles (0°, 90°, +/- 45°). Randomly laid chopped strands can also be stitched onto the base fabric. Additionally, polyester and fiberglass veils of varying densities can be stitched onto the base fabrics.

Application

Compatible with polyester resin, vinyl ester resin, phenolic resin, and epoxy resin, suitable for applications such as ship bodies, turbine blades, nacelles, automobile parts, high-pressure resistant containers, sports equipment, medical apparatus, and high-performance sandwich panels.

Process

Applicable for vacuum infusion, RTM, hand lay-up, filament winding and pultrusion process, etc.
